Well folks here I am with my first blog. I thought well I should make this really bubbly and cheerly welcoming me to my new sense of expression. Frankly I would be lying to you all.
So what is the REAL deal you ask? I feel like crap...down in the dumps you know like that piece of gum on the ground that has been walked over so many times it is now part of the sidewalk.
Why? Because I allow myself to be taken advantage of by people. They take take and then take some more so I have come to a conclusion in a sinical kind of way we are all here for a purpose to live learn suceed laugh cry and at the end of the day the only person I can really count on is ME Myself and I.
I had a hard time today and decided like most people how about I call a "friend" they will listen and pick up my spirits so I went ahead and did just that only to have the whole conversation turned around and the next thing you know we are talking about my friends issues. Why do people act like they are listening when really they are waiting for you to fininsh?
So I got off the phone and thought wow that was a waste of an hour......and I still feel like crap.
Next I thought well the TV would be a good way to escape my thoughts so I decide to stop at the NEWS Channel only to hear about all the bad going on in the world today ya that helped thanks a lot GORD MARTINEAU.
So my next outlet was music and here I am feeling muchbetter
Why is it that a musician(s) know me so well and read my mind better than my so called friends......and I use that term loosely that is why I choose to fly solo and be on my own and keep acquaintances. FRIENDS is a nice word someone has made up for exusing people for being users, manipulator, and opportunist once they get what they want they are out of here. As the song says NOTHIN lasts forever
No matter how down I am Music will always be my REAL FRIEND it does not cut you off judge you finger point, use abuse and hurt you besides it costs less than a shrink.
That's THE REAL DEAL
