Lessons in Optimism

Given the most recent events happening in our world today. I thought we needed some optimism.

Lets look at the blessing of life. Each day we all rise in the morning with a roof on our head, clothes on our back and food on the table then off we go and take on our routine tasks....Some may not be a routine and yet when you take a look around each morning hardly anyone is smiling, laughing or even alert. Perhaps it is mental, physical, or emotional exhaustion.

Is it that we as human exhaust our minds and bodies to replace or avoid a more serious problem lying beneath the surface?

The problem being perspective and how we deal with it.

Why is it that we can make decsions in our careers but when it comes to a personal level we tend to complicate things by dwelling on what should have been and what could of been and what we don't have.
Perhaps it is ambition that drives us to some of these complications, pressures, to be the best or even personal fufilment in some cases.

To me it is a choice you can choose to allow tensions, disappointments and heartache infect your attitude. In no way am I saying that we should not feel pain and hurt....They are all a part of human healing but some of us tend to hold on to it and resent the blessing of life. Some use that typical cliche that life SUCKS! It is the negativity and resent that makes some parts of life suck.

Everyday we are faced with choices and I myself will be the first to admit that I have never made the best choices and as life goes on I have taken each bad choice and experience and looked at it as a mini lesson in life another chapter in the storybook of life.

While we go throught the animosity, hurt, disappointments or even excitement in some cases it should not go un noticed that the turmoil's life throws at us are really lessons that we can learn from if we allow ourselves to accept the lesson.

It is all about perspective if we program our minds that life is bad it will be as people carry the thought of what could have should have been. Instead why not focus on where you can go and how the lesson impacted you. Accept the knowledge as a positive and you will see how quick you begin to heal.

It is good therapy and think there are people worse off in the world who only wish they can have a piece of what has been given to us.

The simple gift of life has been given to us lets unwrap each day with warmth compassion and optimism. If you let yourself it can lead to a more treasured way of life.

That's the real deal!
