A one way street with lost hearts on this highway of love
Changing lanes with no signs of where these tears of pain will lead
No direction just the fear of the unknown
Time always heals the pain
Shattered hearts wounded trying to repair
Broken pieces cut deep leaving lonely hearts walking wounded
Silenced in pain stuck in the moment searching for the voice of reason
Standing tall with both feet on the ground escaping the silent trance of the heart
Moments of time ticking away leading to another painful memory
Wondering who's heart cry's now
In the dead of the night tears of pain fall trying to revive the lifeless heart
Questions lead to empty answers leading to the fear of the unknown
This lonely road traveled now a new direction and leading to the path of reinvention
leading to new dreams and a path of self discovery
